Tasty Tidbits

Merry Christmas!

I hope you had a wonderful week filled with Christmas cheer. It's hard to believe how fast it went!

I baked a Cinnamon Braided Wreath with cranberries & pecans in it for us for Christmas morning breakfast. I've made cinnamon rolls in the past but never a wreath! I may never go back...this was way easier & looks super pretty. I got the recipe from My New Roots. She used spelt flour, so it's completely whole grain, and the filling is dates. It was delicious!

We got some bright red ottomans to go with our new couch! They're the perfect size, plus the top comes off so there is storage inside and it flips over to make them become a table. We've used them a lot already and I love the splash of color they add.

Here's a view with them in it. We're excited to finish decorating & rearranging once the Christmas tree comes down. It seems like we just put it up, so I think we'll leave it up till after the new year begins.

Lots of love to all of you. So much happened in 2013 & I can't wait to see what 2014 will bring!
